From the Tee
This classic First hole is a medium length par four that allows you to begin the round without too much intimidation. The vertical effect is excellent. The waste bunker fronting the tees and the mounds on the left, sometimes reaching elevations 12 feet above the playing surface, present very striking views on the opening hole. There is a cluster of fairway bunkers left off the tee that should tell you the best line to the green is from the left, as the green opens from that angle, guarded by a bunker complex on the front right of the green. Past the fairway bunkers, the entry to the green is unimpeded.
